The Wyandotte is an American breed of chicken developed in the 1870s. It was named for the indigenous Wyandot people of North America. The Wyandotte is a dual-purpose breed. Wyandottes are winter hardy and love attention. They are very broody and are good mothers. Wyandottes will lay 200 eggs per year. Our breeding stock came from Scott Baker and Jerry Foley.
