Self blue to Split Amerucauna 1dz hatching eggs

It was developed in the United States in the 1970s, and derives from Araucana chickens brought from Chile. It was bred to retain the blue-egg gene but eliminate the lethal alleles of the parent birds. Amerucaunas slate legs and have big fluffy beards and peacombs.  They are known to be freindly as docile making great pets.  Our breeding stock have came from Rae Johnson, a private breeder in OH, and CoopdeVille Farms.  Amerucaunas can lay up to 200 eggs per year.
