Cayuga Duck Hatching Eggs 1dz

Cayuga Duck Hatching Eggs 1dz

The Cayuga is an American breed of domestic duck. It was introduced to the Finger Lakes region of New York State in about 1840, and is named for the Cayuga people of that area. This breed in the past have been sought after for their quality of meat.  They are not a flighty breed but lay beautiful eggs that range from black at the beginning of laying and fade as the season goes on to a silver looking white. They can lay 150-200 eggs in a season. This flock has come from a hatchery and most if not all ducklings will be pet quality.  They will turn white as they age, and bills, feet, and legs will get lighter with age. The first picture is of their first year and the rest are recent photos.
